Link building is an effective way to generate traffic for websites. Aside from having bragging rights on the number of traffic your web experiences, it also plays an important role in web page rankings. This influences where your website address will appear when using search engines, especially when using major ones like Google and Yahoo.
Google ranks a website by tracking how many times a domain name is listed in other websites freely, which is when it appears any other way besides paid advertisements. The more times it appears freely, the higher Google will rank a particular website. It is wise to make sure that you make it easy for other websites to link your own.
