Earning backlinks, improve your Page rank!
First of all what’s a backlink ?
A backlink is an incoming link to a website, is any link received by a web page, directory, website, blogs etc etc… from another website. The Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.
What’s Page Rank ?
Simply a PageRank (PR) means the popularity of a web page used by Google Search Engine for classifying its search results. It has an important while selling links on your website, people always ask for your PR.. The problem is how to get a good one..
The best way is to gain backlinks.. But how ?
We can see lots of people sponsoring forums/blogs/websites themes and putting a link of their website in the theme (in the footer usually) the problem with that is almost all webmasters that use those themes remove all the links from the theme, even the copyrights of the designer, so it still a weak technique to earn backlinks while you spend lots of money to sponsor them.
I’ve got here 5 great techniques to gain backlinks.
1. Submitting your blog in web directories and social networks: When you submit your link in social networks they help you to get indexed in google quickly and improve your PR since every submission is a backlink. About the directories, you need to look for good ones, for directory sites that are indexed deep (with too many backlinks translated to a good PR) so it helps your PR to grow. I’d recommend submitterbot.com to do such a technique.
2. Commenting on Dofollow blogs & forums: Dofollow blogs & forums are sites that give you a backlink just for commenting on their articles and posts. (Iearn-Money is a dofollow blog by the way).
3. Buying forums users signature: Since you sponsor themes with high amounts of money, and buying links with high prices, why don’t you just buy users signatures, for example $5 a month and a minimum of 1000 posts, you earn 1k backlinks which is excelent..
4. Exchanging links with other bloggers: You can exchange links with other webmasters, they put your link on their blog and you do the same.. Better exchange links with blogs/websites that have a good PR so it help you to improve yours.
5. Buying text links or banners: Advertising on other blogs/websites is a good way to improve your PR though.. Just find a cheap advertising packages and feel free to advertise without any worries.
I still have a good technique to build strong Inbound links, but I’ll post it in a separated article, because it needs more explanation.
Note: There are nofollow and dofollow backlinks, the ones which help you to improve your PR are the dofollow ones.
To check your Backlinks, I recommend this tool: backlinkwatch.com
And good luck to everyone. Feel free to comment if you have more techniques to gain more backlinks.

What does PR do for you?
August 19th, 2008 at 9:29 pm
You can install an add-on for Firefox, it’s called Search Status, it helps you to know if a blog is a dofollow or nofollow.. Btw iearn-money.com is a dofollow blog so you just earned a backlink
The PR helps when you’re selling links on your website, the highest PR you get the highest money you get.. If you have a PR8 for example you can sell links for $50 ++ a month

A Good way to get backlinks is buying expired domains with page rank, then you can link your main domain in the expired domains
I know it can take time, but you can start doing 3 way linkexchange with these expired domains
my 2 cents

How many backlinks do I have to try to gain daily? I think it depends on your competitors and their strategy, but if I use directory submission technique, how many submissions can I do daily?
August 21st, 2008 at 11:48 am
Submitting your website to directories won’t penalize your PR, but increase it!
You can earn thousands of backlinks daily, it depends on your work.. for directory submissions, I recommend submitterbot.com there are about 400+ directories you can earn great backlinks there!

Well, backlink strategy is moved.
1 or 2 years ago, the free strategy to get PR is link exchange or link partner. This is an easy way to do. And now, I have to search or install firefox add-on to know is a blog do-follow or not.

You can also get more backlinks from writing good articles. You can do article submission. and you can also add rss page for the site it can also help you have backlinks. and also sitemap.
August 24th, 2008 at 12:25 pm
Just with article submission, i’ve seen others saying that articles sent to each directory should be unique. However, i’ve also seen some websites sending same article over and over to each directory and therefore gaining link to each submission without much effort – compared to a unique article. What’s your take on this?
August 24th, 2008 at 2:36 pm

You said: “Advertising on other blogs/websites is a good way to improve your PR.”
Does Google approve of this? Last time I checked, buying advertising on other blogs didn’t help your PR. Matt Cutts even speaks on his blog about how Google’s algorithm is set up to discount these type of links.

Thanks for the tips. Really liked the information on how to identify dofollows with the firefox add on.
September 3rd, 2008 at 2:55 am
wow, thanks for the tips, I really need it since I\’ve just opened up a new blog.. Hopefully mine will be like yours. How did you get so many readers in just 3 month? I can see that you first wrote at this blog in June.. Can you tell me how?
September 3rd, 2008 at 4:37 am
Good tips. But don’t forget trying for the big fish that rank well in a closely related niche. The relevance of the backlinks is also a factor in how much PR is passed.
September 3rd, 2008 at 8:00 am
What is the relation between PR and number of traffic or Alexa Rank?? I’ve seen a website with PR 5 but Alexa is alomost 1.2 million which is i think is not a good thing..can anyone explain.. how to get a PR 4 in a 3 month..is it possible??
September 3rd, 2008 at 2:31 pm

September 3rd, 2008 at 2:59 pm
@dr.oracle: I got many readers recently because I did a good SEO work, hopefully I’ll continue in my success.
@TAT13: The PR doesn’t depend on the traffic you receive, it depends on how much backlinks do you have.

Well tactic No. 1 is definitely the cheapest one, submitting to directories. If you look little better there are even ways to win money by submitting to them.
September 10th, 2008 at 8:16 am
nice article! I personally like the idea of link bait. I think you can get great one way links with that method.
September 11th, 2008 at 2:41 am
Good feedbacks but don’t forget relevancy. Leaving bunch of comments on irrelevant site to your niche will create more harms than good.
You can use the link below to download a free tool to find dofollow blog based on keywords.

Finding new creative ways of getting backlinks will help your site ten fold. Great post and you seem to have a lot of great quality backlinks.
September 13th, 2008 at 8:30 am
Whilst there has been many talk of blog commenting as a valid backlink, this method is certainly a stepping stone for new websites aiming to earn a chunk of Google’s favour.
This is especially prevelant since google hates purchased backlinks. Backlinks, no matter where they come from, helps any website in the long run….
September 17th, 2008 at 7:11 am
My first blog got good PR from submitting to some free article sites, and each article provides a link back to the blog.
I also get quality backlinks from profile pages at social sites and from signature links in big forums.
I’m going to do the same with my latest blog, and I will try your other useful tips.
September 17th, 2008 at 3:12 pm
Thanx for the wonderful tips and we have to remember the relevancy and the importance of back links so we should avoid posting comments in all post, the one which is related to our theme and have good pr with details content information should be posted.
September 17th, 2008 at 3:53 pm
Great article. Dofollow sites and forum signatures are the best in my opinion. They are the cheapest and more effective in my opinion. Keep up the good work!
September 18th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
I don’t know if it is treu, but i heard that pay links are not for the search engines, however, how do they find out if i buy a link, it is alomost impossible isn’t it?
September 21st, 2008 at 6:54 pm
Some good tips there, thanks for sharing them.
I have added a dofollow blog search tool onto my website. While I have yet to complete checking all sites are still offering dofollow links, it will help users to narrow down their search for relevant websites.

Thanks for the info. It’s great.
All we need is the hard works to get as many back links as we can. Th effort will pay us well in return.
September 30th, 2008 at 11:44 am
great, i didn’t knownt what’s pagerank and how is it calculate before. it’s really very useful post
October 1st, 2008 at 12:43 pm
I understand the validity of all this groundwork (and it’s good advice) – but it’s frustrating when PageRanks seem to be updated so arbitrarily. Our site locked at 2 for months, then jumped to 5 – yet our traffic showed a steady buildup, no enormous spikes.
How does Google update PageRank?
October 2nd, 2008 at 9:47 am
Excellent Post…Which one pass highe pagerank ? Social bookmarking or Directory submission
October 8th, 2008 at 12:23 am

October 29th, 2008 at 8:09 am
Absolutely to get backlinks to improve pagerank and I think also SERP.
November 7th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
Thus far the best and most effective way for me to generate backlinks was to post on forums and comment on my favorite do follow blogs.
Yes, it provides backlinks but it also gives an opportunity to network and connect with other like minded folks, creating many possibility and opportunities.
November 18th, 2008 at 2:26 pm

November 21st, 2008 at 7:40 am
how to get backlink?i didn’t understand. what does backlink means?
November 24th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
I’m currently experimenting with article submission. I’m only early into the experiment but I’ve seen a small traffic increase and there are dozens of good places to submit articles so you can get 20+ backlinks from one article…and if you’re lucky someone might just find your article and put it on their site, with your backlink included.
Now I’m just waiting to see how positive the effect will be on my PR.
