Adsense Section Targeting helps to increase adsense revenue
So you will ask me what is Adsense Section targeting ?
The answear is that this feature allows you to take a small area on your website in order to point relevancy to your adsense ads.
If you have huge amount of content based on different niche, and you want to show the ads which are relevan only to one section I’m sure that you have to try Section targeting.
We know that when you place your ads on your website (ex: Homepage), the ads would be rotated with relevancy to any of the informations/content on the page you placed in the ads, but if you are interested in showing ads which are just relevant to the first paragraph of your articles or just the content area you need to implement section targeting.
How to Implement Section Targeting ?
Look at the examples below:
<!–– google_ad_section_start ––>
Here all your website content
<!–– google_ad_section_end ––>
if you want all your website’s content to be under section targeting you can frame up:
<html>
<head>
<title>Title of your website</title>
</head>
<body>
<!–– google_ad_section_start ––>
Here is your website content
<!–– google_ad_section_end ––>
</body>
</html>
But make sure if you target a very small area of the content of the website, maybe you will not get paid for the ads IF there aren’t much advertisers for this niche as you can call the ads then a PSA (Public service ads).. So you have to be careful while you’re targeting your ads to any section of your website.
Maybe you would say that I better leave the ads rotated with relevancy to the whole content of the page so I can earn more, I’d like to tell you that when you use the section targeting you can show up many different ads niches in 1 page, so every visitor is interested in a niche so you can earn more clicks and you know it means more money
Finally I’m sure that you have to try it out and you will notice the increase of your adsense revenue !

Can you tell me that,having same font color of google ads and content of your site increases the chances of clicking on goolge adsense.Is it legal?I would like to do it. Please guide.

Yes that’s for sure, when you make a font color for ads, it takes the visitor look, then he reads it and if he finds something interesting he will click on it, so it still a good method to have more chances of clicking on ads!

Thanks for the advice. One thing, I have put this on my site but it doesnt seem to be changing the ads. How long does it take to work?

It would take around 2 week’s time for Google crawlers to find & implement your section targeted area with more relevant adsense adverts.

I’ve tried the similar tip to add the “ignore” section attribute. Hopefully targeting the “good” sections works better.
On a similar note, the AdSense bot seems to pay a lot of attention to keyword density, so try throwing in your niche keyword here and there.
