hey all.. I have done a thorough analysis on blocking low performing ads using this competitive adsense filter and i can bet on this to improve your adsense earnings. On my site, although small, my earnings per click went up from nealry 0.07$ to 0.31$..

although i am writing on a different topic “adsense tips for bloggers” at the moment, which is a series of 8 posts on helping newbies with adsense program, I am sure to write a full fledged adsense article on competitive adsense filtering, which will feature a list of nearly 200 sites (max. sites you can filter with adsense) in a .txt format..
I will update here as soon as this list is ready..

Very informative information. Never gave this part of it much thought…but now I see what you mean. I noticed one of the URL’s in many of my rectangular ads was basically webcrawler.com and they are a search engine! No matching to the content of my site in any way, shape or form. Anyway, thatnks for the good “heads up”….
